
In order to ensure that everyone at Hope House has a positive recovery process, there are some rules and guidelines that all our residents must follow. Please carefully read what we expect from you. If you have any questions, please get in touch and we’ll happily help out.

OUR RULES
No use of alcohol or mood-altering chemicals on or off premises.
Residents must follow all recommendations from and sign release to place of treatment.
Fighting or stealing will result in eviction.
Residents will share in household duties as assigned.
Residents will be fully dressed in community areas at all times.
Smoking in the house will result in immediate eviction. All smoking will take place in designated area.
Residents will attend a mandatory house meeting every Tuesday unless excused by director.
Curfew will be 10 pm Sunday-Thursday and 12 am Friday and Saturday.
Residents will attend an AA/NA/DAA/Book Study meeting daily in their first 14 days and 4 meetings a week thereafter.
Residents will have a sponsor and home group where they attend business meeting and acquire a service commitment.
No weapons or gambling allowed on premises.
Hope House is not responsible for the security and safekeeping of resident’s personal belongings.
Residents are required to obtain employment within the first 14 days and continue to maintain a job. If at any time a resident becomes unemployed, he must actively seek employment Monday – Friday from 10am – 2pm and is not permitted to be in the house during that time.
No food or drinks allowed in bedrooms.
Residents and guests are subject to drug screens, room, and vehicle searches at any time.
Guests are not allowed in bedrooms unless approved by director and roommate.
Hope House residents using the washer and dryer should remain on the premises until completion of the whole cycle. The dryer filter must be cleaned between each use. Please do not overfill.
Passes will be approved by director on a case-by-case basis. Passes are due 48 hours before departure.
There will be no passes in the first 7 days of residency.
No passes will be issued if resident is behind on rent.
